Here you can share with me my fascination in the countless objects appearing in our night skies. Follow the links at the bottom of the page to my pages where you will find helpful information on Astronomy as well as links to a number of helpful Astronomy-related sites which will provide some aids to help you enjoy this pastime.
Remember that the very earliest astronomers only had access to the most basic instrument of all—their eyes. Even Galileo’s telescope 400 years ago was crude compared to today’s modern instruments—including the “Department Store” ones—yet even it enabled him to see Saturn’s rings and Jupiter with its four largest moons. Be realistic about what you hope to see through your instrument and enjoy the views you get.
I hope you will find my website informative, as well as enjoyable. Keep coming back because I will be regularly updating it to include new resources and material.
Clear Skies to you all. |
